The Southwestern Washington Synod ALYVE (Associated Lutheran Youth in Various Endeavors) are elected youth from all over the synod. They are elected at their convocation usually held during the SW WA Synod Assembly in late spring. These youth are the youth leadership for the SW WA Synod and represent the youth from the different congregations that make up our Synod. The board is an ELCA LYO (Lutheran Youth Organization) affiliated group, which reaches out to all youth not only in our synod but also our region and nationwide.
