Synod Candidacy Committee
The Synod Candidacy Committee nurtures, supports, and evaluates candidates for ordained ministry and rostered lay ministry in the ELCA. It is composed of five members who are appointed by the Bishop and serve five year terms.
The committee is guided by and acts in accordance with the guidelines established for candidacy by the ELCA Division for Ministry.
