The mandate of the Fiscal Board is to direct the financial affairs of the synod, to develop synodical budgets, to propose financial management policies, and to administer the spending of the synod in accordance with the approved budget.

The Fiscal Board is responsible for directing the financial affairs of the Synod, and is called upon to develop the synodical budget, to propose responsible financial management policies, and to administer the spending of the Synod in accordance with the approved budget.
The Fiscal Board attempts to project future levels of mission support based on all available information and with attention to our previous history of giving.
