Welcome to the Southwestern Washington Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
This synod is comprised of 93 congregations and 1 Synodically Authorized Worshipping Community in an area spanning from Federal Way to the Washington- Oregon border and from the Cascades to the Pacific Ocean.
The synod assists congregations and rostered members (Clergy, Associates in Ministry) with the call process, rostered mobility, transitional periods, Healthy Congregations, Natural Church Development, communication between congregations and more. Our Synod Council has set our two priorities as Pastoral Care and New Mission Starts.
This site is designed to provide resources and information for the congregational staff, leadership, and members of the 94 ELCA congregations in this synod.
